Medi-Span DDID Change Report: A report published in Microsoft Excel that identifies all Medi-Span Drug Descriptor Identifiers (DDID) that have been added, changed or deleted since the previous issue. The report includes the following columns: DDID, Drug Name, Route, Dose Form, Strength, Unit of Measure (strength), New DDID (if applicable), Change Type (add, change or delete), Change Date and Added DDID Type (for added concepts only, this column identifies if the add is completely [NEW] or has been used previously, but has not been in current output [OLD]. A changed DDID concept occurs when a change to the Drug Name, Route, Dose Form, Strength, or Unit of Measure occurs and the DDID value remains the same. The report is published weekly, monthly, and quarterly.
	NOTE: The "Route" column in this report may contain routes of administration that are slightly different than the routes in your drug file. This report uses OR (oral) and RE (rectal) instead of PO (oral) and PR (rectal) respectively.
	NOTE: Archival reports prior to 9/02/09 will NOT display the ‘Added DDID Type’ column and will NOT include changes to the DDID for revisions to the Drug Name, Route, Dose Form, Strength, or Strength Unit of Measure.
